Pastor Charges Idiots $340 For Pictures of Heaven — And Then Says Lost His Phone
What can be more solid proof of heaven than photographs of the place taken on your smartphone? So this South African pastor took the tour of heaven and took the requisite photographs to convince the doubters and offered to share them with anyone who paid him about $340.
After realizing that asking for money for the heavenly photographs could get him into trouble, he declared that he would post them for free to Facebook. But, unfortunately, he cannot do that now since his phone has been stolen.
“The pictures were really there, I saw them. We suspect one of the boys washing the Prophet’s car took the phone. But they all denied taking it, even after we threatened them,” one of the bodyguards of thecontroversial pastor told reporters. “All those who have deposited money will be refunded.”
It’s odd as well as sad that those photographs of heaven could not be produced — a sufficiently creative use of a photo-editing software can make many Earthly vistas appear to be heaven-like or Mars-like depending on your requirements.
Our planet Earth is certainly diverse and amazing and full of unusual geographical and other features which will sooner or later be edited and presented to the gullible as photographic evidence of heaven.
For the moment, South African Twitter users had some fun with the claims of heaven.
